Jessica Theobald is a glass artist specialising in lampworking. Her practice combines glass with mixed media, including metal and fabric, exploring the contrast between fragility and industrial strength.

Colour plays a central role in Jessica’s work, with a particular interest in how different colours and combinations can influence perception and emotion. Her practice explores ideas of containment, transformation and the relationship between structure and form.

Through experimentation and making, Jessica investigates how materials can be manipulated, combined and transformed, creating work that examines the boundaries between containment and release.
